The Art of Alex Ross - Variations on Kingdom Come

As I grow older, I tend to hold onto the constants in my life. Alex Ross is a constant. His art is powerful, real and iconic. I am amazed at how the heroes of my youth have come alive in his art. Though all of his work is excellent and worth viewing (JUSTICE is awesome) - Kingdom Come is still the ultimate masterpiece. I long for a CGI Movie based on his work, or at least a DCAU (DC Animated Universe)version of the story. It may be too much to ask, but I have Faith. Anyway, with all of this said, here are some of my own personal variations on Alex's incredible art.

Let me know what you think.

Love you Alex, even if you are a democrat...

Alex Ross is amazing, but don't forget that Mark Waid had something to do with the brilliance of "Kingdom Come", too.

Perhaps what I like best about Ross is that during Halloween, he invites kids into his house that's packed full of comic memorabilia and drawings. He genuinely seems like a good person and understands that comics aren't just popular storytelling, but also American myth.
