The Art of Alex Ross - Variations on Kingdom Come

As I grow older, I tend to hold onto the constants in my life. Alex Ross is a constant. His art is powerful, real and iconic. I am amazed at how the heroes of my youth have come alive in his art. Though all of his work is excellent and worth viewing (JUSTICE is awesome) - Kingdom Come is still the ultimate masterpiece. I long for a CGI Movie based on his work, or at least a DCAU (DC Animated Universe)version of the story. It may be too much to ask, but I have Faith. Anyway, with all of this said, here are some of my own personal variations on Alex's incredible art.

Yesterday was a test.

Today I am taking a test.

I setup my brand new Power Macintosh G5, Dual 2.0, Tower yesterday! I took the time last night to install software, prepare my work area and get ready. God has seasons for us. Chapters close and new ones begin. Last night felt good because I was laying the foundation for the new chapter. I have been doing my best to listen to Him and seek Wisdom above everything else. One of the roots of Wisdom is Discernment. God says in His Word to discern the seasons. As things change in the Spiritual Realm it echoes in the Natural. It is a new year. A new time. A new season.

I am ready for it, are you?

The Initial Purchases and the Launch pad

Three weeks ago I purchased a Dual 2.0 G5 through a eBay store called DataVis - it just shipped today. Is patience something you develop, posess or learn? Not sure, but this company was trying to "try" mine. Anyway, the machine is on the way and I made the big purchase of the new Adobe Design Bundle with Flash so that I can get some work done. My anticipation and excitement level over this new software/hardware package is reaching stellar heights! Combine that we the fact that I am taking the Adobe Photoshop CS2 ACE Exam and have a brand new VIDEO IPOD - life is great!

I pray for wisdom to make the right decisions with my new company. I feel like I am on a launch pad. A new chapter in my family's life is about to start. 2006 is going to be the most fantastic year ever. How can I be so positive? I rest in the comfort of the Most High.
